I’m really bad at About pages, but I’ll give it my best shot!

My name is Anneli. I am 27 28 years old, and Norwegian-Korean. Basically what that means, is that when I was approximately two weeks old I was found abandoned in an alleyway in South Korea, wrapped up, checked by a Quality Assurance team, then shipped to a happy family in Norway where I grew up with my lovely family, wanting for nothing. Traveling around the globe at such a young age clearly left a big impression, because approximately 23 years later I up and did it again – this time to Pennsylvania.

Why Pennsylvania, you ask? I’ve asked myself that same question a lot.

I suppose Chris played a part in that decision. Chris is my boyfriend fiance husband.

Chris is sarcastic and funny and sweet, and he makes me laugh a whole bunch, every day. Which is good, because for the past six years, I’ve been struggling with chronic depression, so having someone around who always knows how to make me laugh really helps. :)

Chris also likes to do random stuff, like jump up and scream “OH MY GOD, EARTHQUAKE IN PENNSYLVANIA?!?” when I fart, or turn to me and say, “What’s wrong, Korean? You yellow?” when we’re watching Back to the Future 3. I’d be offended, except I genuinely think it’s funny. So help me God.

Oh, yeah. I should also mention: I talk about my bodily functions on this site. Deal with it.

Anyway, for some reason, all this alluring charm drew me in and spun me right round, baby, right round, until I had no other choice but to marry him. In August of 2011, we launched our first miniature combination hybrid (new and improved), made with 50% American and 50% Tiny Korean. We named him Benjamin.

Ben is a fun, little guy. He’s growing like a weed, giggling a ton and poops even more. I have high hopes that he will eventually become something awesome, like a ninja or a spy or maybe a rock star. Of course, if he doesn’t become any of those things when he grows up, I’ll still love him. Just not as much.

Anyway, to get back on the topic of me: I’m an oldest child, reformed rebel and full time geek. in my free time I enjoy perusing the endless entertainment found on the internet, and play World of Warcraft. I’m also a huge fan of music, photography and food. I like to say, if it’s “artsy” and hard to make money on, I’m probably at least above average at it. I have an everlasting tug of war with my weight problem, and occasionally abuse the caps lock button a little too much. Whatever. I hear it’s cruise control for cool, so it’s okay.

I don’t subscribe to any particular political or religious movement, but since labels are cool and all, I’d be called a liberal and agnostic. I’m a big fan of the expression, “Whatever floats your boat,” but in reality I don’t always manage to follow it myself, of course.

Beyond that, I don’t really know what else to write about myself.

Oh, except that I have an unreasonable hatred for Shia Lebouf and Will Ferrel. That’s important information.
